In other news, I am most pleased to report some additional humor at my brother's expense -- not only did the Large Food-Bringer say that Gozer sounds like "a squeaky-toy dropped out of an airplane" when he jumps off a human-waist-high object and grunts on impact, but the Medium-Sized Food-Bringer was heard saying the following to him (during a conversation with lucybond, which she seemed to be very much enjoying):

"Dammit, Gozer, you can't have any cherries!! First my carrot sticks, now my cherries -- cat, you're not a carnivore, you're an opportunist!!"

And then she said something about *diet food*. Hweh-hweh-hweh. Take THAT, fat man!!

Zuul likes hiding in Mom's skirt sometimes.

The humans seem to delight in capturing us in undignified positions. Gozer is recovering from a tumble into the large water-dish which they refer to as "the bathtub."

What is this "XtremeBellyRub" of which you speak?

Observe . . . I'm very good at helping to catch the wood-splinter beast that has infested the Large Food-Bringer's mouth . . .

He kept saying something that sounded like "I'mtrynnawork!", but I put his safety above his protests. Finally, I removed the object, but he wouldn't let me gnaw it to death. Grrrr.

Also, it's fun to watch my sister being tormented >:D

The illustrious geekers and hellsop recently visited us as emissaries from the Northern Cat Alliance (they didn't know it, but they were carrying microfilm on their persons), and filled an album with pictures of our Devastating Cute Attacks. I am told that they then proceeded on to Someplace Warm and embarked on a voyage in a "boat" (kind of like the floaty nasty-tasting soap in the Big Water Dish in the upstairs bathroom, I believe), but we have only received scattered intelligence as to their further whereabouts. I believe that there are some photographs of their journey in subsequent albums on this site.

However, for the moment . . . BOW DOWN BEFORE THE CUTE!!!

. . . taking a brief break from chasing hair-ties around the house (they're a menace, they breed in corners, and Bast forbid that the Medium-Sized FoodBringer be able to find one when she needs it!) in order to provide an update.

Been very busy protecting the household from various infiltrators, including a remote-control mouse and car, and the Mysterious Red Spot which sometimes appears on the carpet or walls, but cannot be caught with paws or teeth. I overheard the Large FoodBringer saying something about "lzr pinter" in relation to it, but no further information is available at this time. I know that mark_argent's feline overlord, Greta, has made a great leap of discovery in relation to the Mysterious Red Spot, but we have not been able to contact her for a debriefing.

This morning, Mom -- er, the Mid-Sized Foodbringer -- unaccountably objected to Gozer attempting to insert the milk-ring-tab under her leg for later retrieval with claws out . . . personally, I think that's a PERFECT place to store it. Besides, it was time for her to get up and play with us, anyway.

This past weekend, geekers and hellsop came by to visit and appropriately worship us, and took a flattering number of photos. I am given to understand that they're currently *shudder* AFLOAT on an even bigger water-bowl than the one in Mom's bathroom, and will be posting pictures and tribute when they return.

We have some pictures to post later, as well -- the Small FoodBringer took some, but Mom has been lazy about resizing/posting them. And she only allows us limited access to the keyboard as it is, so we'll have to wait upon her pleasure to share with the world our continued adorability. The indignities that one must face on the road to world domination . . .

Oh, dear . . . my brother is doing the hunting crouch -- it's time for me to make my tail all big and flee upstairs, hair-tie in mouth. One last thing before I go . . . I would like to make it known to the humans in the household that I will NOT, under any circumstances, respond to being addressed as "You! With the tiny head!"

. . . but we've been BUSY. If you can believe it, the humans brought a TREE into the house, and then hung all sorts of alarming-looking baubles on it. They're shiny and we need to keep a close watch on them.

We helped them unpack the boxes . . .

. . . and Mom took photos of me ALL WET AND UNDIGNIFIED . . . I ~~fell~~ explored the tub again, this time with the Short Person in it, and was then all wet and cold and cranky, particularly when the Large FoodBringer began referring to me as "ratty". Harrumph.

Today, the Mid-Sized Foodbringer got into the Big Water Bowl again. She's so considerate . . . I still don't know why she does it, but I swear that she's making "Mom Soup" . . . that water is just so much more delicious than any other water.

I stood on the edge of the bowl, pacing back and forth, licking her knees and elbows and butting my head up against her hands so that my head-fur got all spikey. Punk rawk!!! \m/

I also accidentally dipped the end of my tail in the water, and then lashed it around to great effect, splashing water everywhere. I had to lick it really thoroughly to get it fluffy again.

Unfortunately, there are no pictures of my victory over the Evil Clear Shower Curtain (I scuffled with it most valiantly), because Mom said something indistinct about "modesty" and the flashy-thing "not being waterproof" . . . maybe next time.

I think all the water has drained out by now . . . I'm going to go jump in, get my paws wet, and then do the wet-paw-shake-dance and wash them thoroughly. I'd better make sure it's actually empty, though . . . a couple of weeks ago, I ~~fell in~~ attempted to explore it while there was still some water in, and I got wet all the way up to my belly. Ugh. Mom was laughing herself sick, too -- saying I had "sodden little skinny legs." At least Gozer helped me wash the wet bits without snickering. Can't a cat have some dignity around here?

WHEE! More pictures of DOOM! (and fuzzyness)(and part of one of our food givers- the one who calls us poop sacks, then pets us lots).

He made us the ULTIMATE TOY . . . attached a hair-tie to a milk-ring. However, we got our revenge . . . we did not allow ashbet to capture any of our acrobatic leaps on camera, we timed it PERFECTLY so that she kept getting only pictures of us at rest. Ha-HAH!!

ashbet has this silly idea that not everyone who reads her journal wants to see near-daily ADMIRE OUR CUTENESS updates, so we now have a journal of our own.

Gozer's Paws of Destruction are no use in this effort (he did, however, succeed in typing "43" and changing ashbet's screen settings), so it's a good thing that the FoodBringer takes excellent dictation.

In any case, enough introduction . . . FEAR OUR FUZZINESS!!
